Clare Parme
(Writer / Producer)
Clare is an actress and writer based in New York City. She values authenticity, spontaneity and play. She has a BFA in Acting from the University of Minnesota / Guthrie Theater Actor Training Program. Her theater credits include Those Who Favor Fire at the Guthrie Theater, The Sexual Lives of Savages at Walking Shadow Theater, School for Scandal at Riverside Theater, Comedy of Errors (touring production) at Idaho Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet (touring production) at Hudson Valley Shakespeare and Cry It Out with Thrown Stone Theater. Her Film/TV credits include The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and from 2018-2020, she was the voice of the Realtor.com. She’s a frequent writer for Our Bar NYC and has trained in playwriting with Primary Stages. She is a member of Actor’s Equity Association.

Hillary Carrigan
(Director / Producer)
Hillary is a Regional-Emmy award winning Director/Editor based in New York City and known for her contributions to post-production as a 1st Assistant Editor of feature-length films (Babygirl, You Hurt My Feelings). Narrative stories including, or told through, the perspectives of girls and women are her focus. The arts, education, identity/autonomy, equality and unity are themes she strives to validate and uplift through her work.Carrigan was a recipient of the 2022-2023 Inwood Art Works Filmmaker Fund and grantee of The Creative Heights Society for a short film she wrote and directed titled, “Nana”. She is a member of The Motion Picture Editors Guild, I.A.T.S.E. Local 700 (New York) and SAG-AFTRA.

Brian Miller
(Producer / D.P.)
Brian is a filmmaker and non-fiction storyteller based out of New York City. He focuses primarily on creating short-form video content: documentaries, commercials, branded content and narrative films. Working in the roles of director, cinematographer, producer, and editor, his work has taken him from Ghana to Palestine to Costa Rica, telling stories for a variety of individuals and organizations along the way. Brian’s client list includes GE, McDonalds, the BBC, Columbia University, Johnson & Johnson, as well as several others. In addition to commercial clients, Brian has been creating narrative films for the last six years. He was an Inwood filmmaker grant recipient for the film "Giant" (2020), and recently shot the Tribeca film, "David Again" (2024). -
ava desiderio
(Movement Director, Choreographer)
A New York native, Ava Desiderio is a mover, educator, and choreographer. In the past, they have performed with Alabama Ballet and Eglevsky Ballet, working with choreographers such as Gabrielle Lamb, Dennis Nahat, and Garrett Smith. Since returning to New York, Ava has participated in stage and film productions with Sarah Marazzi-Sassoon, Lavy/Verbal Animal, and Francis Patrelle in addition to her own self produced work. They are also a company member with Sheep Meadow Dance Theater, led by Billy Blanken.
Past choreographic opportunities include NYC Emerging Artist Project, Syracuse City Ballet, Miami City Ballet School, the Philadelphia Youth Ballet, Steps on Broadway and Columbia University with additional commissions by Norte Maar.
Ava is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. They are currently on faculty at Edgewater Performing Arts and Ballet Academy East.
Early training includes Petrov Ballet School (now Waldwick School of Ballet), Ballet Academy East under Darla Hoover and Miami City Ballet School under Arantxa Ochoa. Ava’s other training includes San Francisco Ballet, The Royal Ballet School, American Ballet Theatre, New Chamber Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Courtney Sauls, Sissa Strain, and Orsolina28 working with Jacob Jonas The Company. Ava also directs, choreographs and produces dance films, the most recent edition being WHEN WE’RE TOGETHER.

Anabel Alpert
(Ballet Consultant)
After graduating from Miami City Ballet School, Anabel danced professionally with the Sarasota Ballet, Ballet Austin, American Contemporary Ballet, and currently, New Chamber Ballet. As an experienced marketing director, administrative assistant, organizational ambassador, and donor liaison, Anabel is passionate about facilitating growth in professional dancers, pre-professional ballet students, and arts organizations through coaching, rehearsal directing, and mentorship. In addition to her varied background as a professional ballet dancer, she serves as the founder and chair of the New Chamber Ballet Young Patrons Club, which has increased audience engagement and retention and raised over $10,000 within its first six months.
After spending several years balancing full-time professional dancing and part-time university classes, Anabel graduated cum laude from Pennsylvania State University, earning her degree in Organizational Leadership.In addition to dancing, Anabel currently teaches ballet at Yvette Dance Studio in Cranford,NJ. She is also a guest teacher and guest artist at the Philadelphia Dance Academy in Philadelphia, PA. Driven by her desire to promote and support emerging dancers and choreographers, Anabel founded the NYC Emerging Artists Project in 2023.
